Iskele Municipality has illuminated the pedestrian crossings in front of the roundabout on the Iskele Main Road, based on the traffic accidents that have occurred in recent days, especially in which pedestrians lost their lives. The solar panels at the pedestrian crossings, whose assembly was completed by the Iskele Municipality Electric Unit, were activated and pedestrians were enabled to cross the street in a safer way. He warned and underlined that vehicle drivers should control their speed and be more respectful to pedestrians, especially in order for pedestrians to cross the street more safely. President Sadıkoğlu also announced that pedestrian crossings will be illuminated from the ground in the coming days and solar panels will be installed in the roundabouts.
