According to police, the two individuals a man and a woman, 21 and 22, were stopped by police at 5pm on Tuesday.
During inspections on the vehicle, police found keys to other vehicles, electronic tools, and other items used to break-in to buildings.
Police said that the two suspects failed to give sufficient explanations about the objects found in their possession, and all the items were seized as evidence.
Authorities also discovered that the vehicle the 21-year-old man was driving was also stolen as was the licence plate.
The vehicle was traced back to a rental office in Limassol, whose owner had reported the burglary of the vehicle and the six sets of keys to other vehicles last week.
According to the statement the owner gave police, the vehicle along with €1,500 had been stolen from office sometime between January 11 and 12.
Police secured court-ordered arrest warrants for the individuals, and the two were taken into custody.
Limassol police are continuing their investigations.
