Paphos CID on Tuesday is seeking a 42-year-old suspect for a case of assault, grievous bodily harm and threats committed shortly on Christmas Day.
According to police statement, on Monday shortly after midnight, a 24-year-old Paphos resident complained that, following a misunderstanding about the parking space outside his residence, his 42-year-old neighbour attacked and beat him, causing him a nasal fracture.
The attacker also allegedly threatened the complainant with further harm. An arrest warrant has been issued against the alleged perpetrator and he is wanted.
Meanwhile, in another Christmas Day incident, police took into custody an 48-year-old for a case of disorderly conduct, intoxication and malicious damage.
According to police on at 7:30 in the evening of Christmas the man was arrested on Adamantiou Korai Street in Paphos, for having caused damages to a parked vehicle, the amount of which has not yet been calculated.
Initial background checks identified the man as an illegal resident.
