Seventy-eight-year-old tourist arrested for possession of ammunition
According to police spokesperson and head of CID, Michalis Nikolaou, on Saturday an x-ray employee at Paphos airport noticed a suspicious object in the man’s hand luggage on the scanner.
The object was determined to be a military cartridge with a 9 mm diameter. The 78-year-old owner of the luggage was arrested and detained for a day.
Police are continuing Investigations.
